Alexa Halliburton, MS, is a fifth-year PsyD student in the Neuropsychology concentration at Roosevelt University. She earned her B.S. in Neuroscience with a minor in Pharmacology from the University of Kentucky. Her neuropsychology clinical practica include the University of Chicago, the University of Illinois-Chicago, Northwestern Medicine, and RUSH- Movement Disorders. Further, Alexa's clinical and research interests involve psychopharmacology, long-Covid, autoimmune disorders, substance use disorders, cognitive rehabilitation, and addressing health disparities. Alexa also serves as a board member of the Illinois Association of Prescribing Psychologists and is working toward becoming a clinical neuropsychologist with prescriptive authority. Outside of all things brain-related, Alexa enjoys continuing her passion for dance, listening to live music, and spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.
