Sandra is a postdoctoral clinical neuropsychology resident at Barrow Neurological Institute. She completed her B.A. in Psychology at Texas A&M
University–Corpus Christi, M.S. at The University of Texas at Tyler, Ph.D. at Pacific University, and her pre-doctoral neuropsychology internship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is passionate about serving diverse and bilingual populations, with a particular focus on Latine brain
health and reducing health disparities. Her research interests include performance validity testing for Spanish speakers and deep-brain stimulation outcomes in individuals with Parkinson’s disease.
