Dr. Danielle Shapiro is an Associate Professor and the Director of Clinical Training in the Department of Physical Medicine, Division of Rehabilitation Psychology and Neuropsychology at Michigan Medicine/ University of Michigan. She is board certified through the American Board of Professional Psychology in clinical neuropsychology as well as pediatric neuropsychology. Dr. Shapiro’s clinical practice includes assessment and acute neurorehabilitation of children and adolescents with a range of medical and neurodevelopmental conditions. Dr. Shapiro has a long track record of leadership in training in neuropsychology and a passion for promoting the success of the next generation of neuropsychologists. For example, she serves on the Board of Directors and the Committee on Diversity and Inclusion for the Association of Postdoctoral Programs in Clinical Neuropsychology. She also has an active research program looking at factors that contribute to well-being during training in neuropsychology. She joined the EAC in 2023.
