Longoria is a neuropsychologist in the Department of Psychology and Biobehavioral Sciences at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. She is Board Certified in Clinical Neuropsychology and Pediatric Clinical Neuropsychology. Dr. Longoria provides neuropsychological evaluations to pediatric and young adult patients with complex medical conditions, including sickle cell disease, brain tumor, leukemia, and rare genetic disorders. Her research interests are focused on neurocognitive outcomes and transition to adult care in sickle cell disease.

Teaching and mentoring are of great importance to Dr. Longoria and she provides clinical supervision to graduate students, interns, and post-doctoral fellows. She is especially interested in helping trainees cultivate their areas of clinical interest and start developing foundational supervisory skills. She enjoys advocating for trainee needs through the Educational Advisory Committee.
