| Please Add Any Additional Information to Include in Your Listing | Our Program has a national reputation for excellence, and the course of study for students in the Clinical Neuropsychology Major Area of Study at Fordham University is consistent with national guidelines developed for doctoral study in clinical neuropsychology (https://uh.edu/hns/hc.html). Moreover, our students go on to outstanding internships and neuropsychology postdocs. At the same time, our students are expected to be actively engaged in research throughout their tenure, and routinely have multiple neuropsychology-related publications and conference presentations upon graduation. Students can also receive training and experience in grant writing. Our students have been successful in securing highly competitive research awards (e.g., NIH F31 awards, NSF Graduate Fellowships). In addition to the required elements of the program, students have the opportunity to work with a bilingual (Spanish), board certified neuropsychologist (Dr. Rivera Mindt), and gain unique experience and expertise in cultural neuropsychology and community-based participatory research (CBPR) with highly diverse patient populations. Students also have the opportunity to work with licensed clinical neuropsychologist, Dr. Molly Zimmerman, on a variety of research projects related to cognition and lifestyle factors across the lifespan, including sleep patterns, light exposure, and subconcussive events during sports play. |
